Without vision you have no direction. Without direction you have no purpose.

Mission Statement       St Mary's, Our School, Our Story

Vision

In St. Mary's, we envision a learning environment that nurtures the personal and academic growth of our pupils, empowering them to reach their full potential.

We strive to create a positive and inclusive culture that values and promotes respect, kindness, and empathy among our pupils and staff.

We believe that each child has unique talents, strengths, and challenges, and that it is our responsibility to create an environment that supports their individual needs and interests. To achieve this, we aim to create a stimulating learning environment that fosters and supports all curricular and extracurricular activities.

We aim to deliver a curriculum that is challenging, engaging, and relevant to the needs of our pupils and that fosters a love of learning that extends far beyond the classroom. Our teachers are committed to delivering high-quality instruction that inspires curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning. They focus on the educational attainment and personal development of all pupils in their care.

Academic success and personal development is not just about test results but also about developing the skills and competencies needed to thrive in the modern world. We aim to equip our pupils with a broad range of academic, social, emotional, and technological skills that will enable them to adapt to change, solve problems, and think critically.

We recognise that personal development is just as important as academic achievement, and we strive to create a supportive environment that promotes social and emotional growth. Our pupils are encouraged to develop strong relationships with their peers, their teachers and the wider community, building their confidence, self-esteem, and resilience.

We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their background or circumstances. We work closely with parents, guardians, and the wider community to create a collaborative approach to education, supporting all of our pupils in achieving their goals and aspirations. We aim to access all support services that cater to the diverse learning styles and abilities of our pupils. We have well-established links with all local and national agencies.

In Scoil Mhuire we are committed to creating a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment that inspires our pupils to reach their full potential personally and academically. We believe that every child has the ability to achieve great things, and it is our privilege to support them on their journey. Our mission is for all pupils in our care to reach their maximum potential, academically and personally. Our operating process is to use all available resources in a creative manner.

St. Mary's is a schoolhouse, all staff and pupils work with each other and for each other.

All this work is guided by Christian values, our ethos is an integral part of our school.
