Reduce - Reuse - Recycle
Every year we have a school clean up day. Generally 5th Class take charge of this. Its amazing how much rubbish accumulates on the avenue up to our school.
We have separate bins in all classrooms for recycling and general waste. Our Green Schools Committee members monitor these bins to ensure everyone complies!
We reuse reduce and recycle old batteries, printer toners and mobile phones. We continue to inform the school community of the importance of recycling in terms of the environment and our pocket.
These are just some of the things that we have done to earn a green flag. All the teachers and pupils have been working very hard to make our school a lot greener . We hope to have our third green flag by the end of the summer!
